Jaime David is the Principal at Webster Avenue Elementary School. She has been working in education for 18 years, the last two in the Providence Public School District (PPSD). Prior to coming to PPSD, Jaime worked in the Polk County School District in Florida. She began her career teaching Secondary English in middle and high schools. After eight years in the classroom, Jaime was a school-based literacy coach for one year, and then became a District-Based Literacy Coach for three years. She was then an Assistant Principal for three and a half years. Most recently, Jaime was an Assistant Principal at Nathanael Greene Middle School in Providence.

Jaime earned her Bachelor's degree in Secondary English Education and ESOL Certification from Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida. She received her Master's degree in Educational Leadership from Southeastern University in Lakeland, Florida.

Jaime's belief is that all children are able to learn with the right tools and support.
