    Mission Statement

    The mission of the Classical High School Guidance and Counseling Department is to promote and enhance the learning process of each student.

     

    Overview of Services

    The department embraces the American School Counselor Association’s National Standards Model. The Guidance and Counseling Department facilitates student growth and development in three critical areas of: Academic, Career and Personal/Social domains. These aspects of student growth and development allow for a holistic approach to the Guidance and Counseling of every student. This comprehensive guidance and counseling model at Classical includes: program development, counseling and consultation, college planning, student appraisal and placement, and referral services.
