    IBEW LOCAL 99   Electricians Union

    An electrician is a tradesman specializing in electrical wiring of buildings, stationary machines, and related equipment. Electricians may be employed in the installation of new electrical components or the maintenance and repair of existing electrical infrastructure.

    Requirement: In order to apply to the electrician’s union apprenticeship program you must live in Rhode Island, you must be 18 and you must have a valid driver’s license at the time of the application.  You must have a GED or high school diploma

     

    Plumbers and Pipefitters Union- Local 51

    Anyone who has faced a busted pipe or broken toilet will tell you that plumbers are heroes. Plumbers install and repair water supply lines, waste disposal systems, and related appliances and fixtures to keep homes and businesses flowing smoothly. Being a plumber is physically demanding.
