Rachel Phillips serves as Assistant Principal at Pleasant View Elementary School and has been a leader within the Providence Public School District (PPSD) for two years.  Rachel has been working in education for 12 years. Prior to working in PPSD, she worked in the NYC School District. 

Rachel obtained her Bachelor's Degree in English from Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. From there, she earned her Master's in Elementary and Special Education from Manhattanville College in Purchase, New York. She then went on to earn a second Graduate Degree in Administration with a focus in Math Leadership from Bank Street College of Education.

Her vision for Pleasant View Elementary is to continue to develop a positive school climate where students, staff, teachers and families are a true community that come together to focus on the growth of our students as a whole while they continue to grow in achievement.
