Dylan Tyrrell is the current Assistant Principal at Mary E. Fogarty Elementary School. He has worked in education for 13 years, the last 11 with the Providence Public School District (PPSD). Prior to coming to PPSD, Dylan worked for the Charleston County School District in South Carolina as a Reading Specialist and a 4th grade teacher. He has held various roles in PPSD, among them an ESL classroom teacher, a Special Education co-teacher, a 2nd, 4th, and 5th grade teacher, and he's been working as an administrator for the past two years.

Dylan earned his Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Special Education from Salve Regina University in Newport, Rhode Island. He went on to receive his Master's degree in Differentiated Instruction from Graceland University in Lamoni, Iowa.

Dylan's vision and philosophy for Mary E. Fogarty Elementary School is that he wants the school to feel safe and fun for students, and the teachers. He wants everyone to know, that they are going to work hard, but there is time for fun as well.
