Suzanne Madden is the current Principal at DelSesto Middle School. This will be her 10th year working in the Providence Public School District (PPSD). Suzanne joined Providence Public Schools as an assistant principal at Carl G. Lauro Elementary School in 2014 before transitioning into the role of Principal in 2017. She has led the Lauro school community in tireless efforts to provide Providence students with a solid education and a welcoming learning environment. In her leadership capacity, Ms. Madden spearheaded expanding Lauro’s offerings, including a dual language program for kindergarten to grade 5 and helped mainstream behavior intervention program students for core instruction in ELA and Math.

Suzanne received her Master's degree in Literacy from Roger Williams University in Bristol, Rhode Island, completed her leadership training at Bridgewater State University in Bridgewater, Massachusetts, and completed advanced coursework at Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts.

Suzanne is excited about leading the redesign work at DelSesto Middle School, focusing on project-based learning, rigorous academics, continuing to improve culture and climate, and maximizing the school's high quality, sustainable partnerships.
