Dr. Fiona McIntosh
Dr. Fiona McIntosh is the 7th grade Assistant Principal at DelSesto Middle School, and has been a part of the administration team since January 2022. Fiona holds a Master's degree from the University of Rhode Island in Kingston, Rhode Island, and a Doctor of Education from Johnson and Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island. Besides her time at DelSesto, she has taught in Scotland, the Channel Islands, and Sweden.
Fiona believes the most crucial factor in education is human connection. When students feel like they matter to educators, they do so because the teacher and student have forged a relationship built on trust and admiration. When educators make an intentional effort to get to know each of their students, it can foster in students a sense of belonging and connection to school, building a foundation for academic success.
