The CAB will serve as the identified liaison between the school and the greater community organizations, encourage participation from identified community organizations, be an advocate for the school and encourage the greater community to participate in school sanctioned events. The CAB will meet monthly, at a school based level, to review data and progress of the redesign process. In addition to the monthly meetings, the CAB will meet quarterly with the other CAB’s in the district for district based conversations. The CAB at JSEC has grown since the 2020-2021 school year. We have parents, community members from Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University, LifeSpan and The College Crusade, alumni, and a school board member.
