Brian Bordieri

Brian Bordieri is the Assistant Principal of Career and Technical Education (CTE) at Providence Career and Technical Academy (PCTA). He has been working in education for 23 years, and has worked one year in the Providence Public School District (PPSD). Prior to coming to PPSD, Brian worked at NAFI Alternatives, The Met (Metropolitan Regional Career and Technical Center), and Johnston High School. Brian has been working as an administrator for four years.

Brian earned his Bachelor's degree from Rhode Island College in Providence, Rhode Island, and went on to receive his Master's at Providence College in Providence, Rhode Island. Brian believes that relationships drive culture and culture drives achievement. He believes that relationships allow data to become knowledge. Brian wants to see students develop deeper relationships with their teachers and to be proud of their own work.

Brian loves his team at PCTA, and he's looking forward to another great school year.

Janene Santucci

Janene Santucci is the Assistant Principal of Academics at Providence Career and Technical Academy (PCTA). She has been working in education for 20 years, the last 11 in the Providence Public School District (PPSD). Before becoming an Assistant Principal, she was a social worker at PCTA for 10 years. Prior to working in PPSD, Janene was an Adjustment Counselor (School Counselor) in Attleboro, Massachusetts.

Janene earned her Bachelor's degree from Rhode Island College in Providence, Rhode Island. She received her Master's degree in Social Work from Boston University in Boston, Massachusetts, and she is currently a doctoral candidate in the Johnson and Wales Educational Leadership Program. Janene is also a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in the State of Rhode Island, and is a 2021 graduate of CLEE's Principal Residency Program.

Janene's philosophy of education centers on holistic student development, equity, collaboration, and individualized support. She believes in nurturing the academic, social, emotional, and physical well-being of each student, fostering inclusivity and diversity, and promoting teamwork among students, parents, teachers, and the community. For the upcoming school year, her vision emphasizes a student-centric approach, enhanced mental health support, strong community engagement, continuous professional development for staff, inclusivity, data-driven decision-making, and ensuring safety and well-being. Together, these principles and goals aim to create an empowering and inclusive educational environment where every student can thrive and reach their full potential.
