Judy Valentine is the Principal at Providence Career and Technical Academy (PCTA). She has been working in education for 37 years, the last 35 in the Providence Public School District (PPSD). From 2005 to 2022, she was an Assistant Principal, and took on a role as Principal beginning last year. Prior to coming to PPSD, she worked at Johnson and Wales University.

Judy earned her Associate's degree in Culinary Arts, her Bachelor's degree in Culinary Education, and her Master of Arts in Teaching Education from Johnson and Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island. She earned a second Master's in Education from the University of Rhode Island in Kingston, Rhode Island. Judy, a chef, taught culinary arts at the James L. Hanley Career and Technical Center.

Judy is a passionate educator and leader who enjoys the school, the staff, and the students she works alongside each day. Her vision for PCTA is to empower students to become career ready and college ready, in a state-of-the-art career and technical environment.
