All Providence School Board activities follow RI's Open Meetings Act (R.I. General Laws §42-46 et. al.)  Regular (full board) and committee meetings are typically held in the School Board Meetings Rooms of 797 Westminster Street, Providence, RI 02903 (3rd Floor) on Wednesdays and in the following order:

• • 1^st Wednesday-- Policy Committee Meeting at 5:30 PM in the 3^rd floor Board Rooms.
  • 2^nd Wednesday—Finance Committee Meeting business meeting at 5:30 PM in the Basement PD Tech Room.
  • 3^rd Wednesday—Full Board Meeting at 6:00 PM in the Third Floor Board Rooms.
  •  4^th Wednesday—Health and Wellness Committee Meeting at 5:30 PM in the Basement PD Tech Room.

Certain months when school holidays affect the calendar please refer to the Providence School Board website.

Special meetings may be called and meeting location may change when deemed necessary.  All meetings are publicized a minimum of 48 hours in advance.  Meeting dates and agendas are posted on the Providence School Board website . 

The Health & Wellness Committee is a multi-stakeholder committee that involves Providence Public Schools district staff, community partners, members of the public. For information on how to get involved in Health & Wellness and their sub-committees, please contact sandra.stuart@ppsd.org.

The CTE Committee is dedicated to the promotion and implementation of outcomes-driven CTE programming across all high schools in Providence.  The CTE committee will be comprised of industry representatives, community partners, members of the public and CTE staff. We will have sub-committees for high wage- high growth industry clusters as well as for work-based learning/internships and middle school pathway development.   For information and how to get involved with sub-committees, please contact brett.dickens@ppsd.org
