      A confidential program offered in collaboration with Gateway Healthcare, Lifespan, Hasbro Children's Hospital and Bradley Hospital, Kids’ Link RI helps children and youth in need of mental health services and to refer them to treatment provider
    • SAMHSA’s National Helpline (800) 662-HELP (4357), (also known as the Treatment Referral Routing Service) or TTY: 1-800-487-4889; 24/7
      The helpline is a confidential, free information service, in English and Spanish for individuals and family members facing mental and/or substance use disorders. This service provides referrals to local treatment facilities, support groups, and community-based organizations. Callers can also order free publications and other information.

      The Trevor Project provides nationwide, around-the-clock crisis and suicide prevention helpline for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning youth.
    • National Teen Dating Abuse Hotline (866) 331-9474/ (866)331-9453 (TTY); 24/7;
      This hotline offers support, information and advocacy to those involved in dating violence and abuse, as well as parents, teachers and service providers.
    • National Hopeline Network (800) SUICIDE (784-2433); 24/7;
      This network connects people who are depressed  or suicidal, or those who are concerned about someone, to certified crisis center nearest to the calling location.

      (NHTRC) is a national, toll-free hotline on the issue of human trafficking, available to answer calls and texts from anywhere in the country.
    • Teen Talk Thursdays, sponsored by the Samaritans of RI, takes place every Thursday from 6 to 9 pm; (401) 272-4044; .  This confidential hotline/listening line that helps callers of all ages who are hopeless, alone, suicidal or seeking information to help a family member or friend.

    • Find creative ways to spend time safely with friends, like virtual movie parties
    • Do something you enjoy outside, like going to the park or for a run
    • Treat yourself to healthy snacks and get enough sleep
    • Make time to relax by reading, listening to music, or exploring a new hobby
    • Talk to someone you trust if you or a friend feels bad
