Kindergarten Registration

    • The Kindergarten lottery registration deadline was Friday, May 10. Kindergarten placements for 2024-25 were sent to families in June.
    • If you missed the lottery deadline, it’s not too late to register! Please register as soon as possible.

    How to register

    • Online: Click “” to enter Skyward, the student registration and information portal.  All requirements must be scanned and uploaded to the application portal.  Registrations submitted without requirements will not be processed.  A team member will follow up with a phone call to process the registration.   

    Required Documents

    • Student Age Verification Document: Original birth certificate, passport, residency card, OR I-94
    • Parent/Guardian photo identification
    • Immunization Records
    • Physical Exam Form
    • Lead Screening
    • Proof of Providence Residency - Provide one of the following: Utility bill (not a cell phone or internet bill), pay stub, lease, bank statement-all dated within 60 days of registration
    • Tuberculosis Screening Test: Students who have traveled outside of the United States for more than 90 days or who were born outside of the United States are required to show proof of tuberculosis screening 

     

    Age for Enrollment

    Every child who is five years of age on or before September 1st of each school year shall be eligible to attend kindergarten. There are no exceptions to this policy.

     

    Translating Skyward, the student registration and information system, into another language:

    1. Use Chrome Browser
    2. Go to any page in Skyward and right-click using your mouse or touchpad. The option to translate will show up in the menu.
    3. If you don't see your chosen language as an option, you may need to click on the three stacked dots to the right to see language options.
